PopParty is a performance in which nothing happens – except ourselves. It is an experiment on the intersection of happening, performing, and staging, where we play with the phenomenon of contemporary pop music. A situation that affirms potential of pleasure.
Tandem Kitch is experimenting with performative forms in an interdisciplinary manner, in critical context, with theoretical and conceptual background. Believing in political emancipation of loose identities, Kitch understands performance as a situation that allows checking possibilities of disidentification of everyone involved in it. Attempting to reach over boundaries of stage and genres, it plays with the performative potential of kitsch and trash. Challenged with collective dynamics of various generations, Kitch reduces the theatre language in order to overcome the relation "spectator vs. performer".
