Polona Udovič (voice, violin), Timi Krajnc (guitar), Vojko Vešligaj (guitar) and Mitja Režman (bass) are renowned artists at home and abroad; they collaborate with numerous individuals, chamber groups, orchestras, bands, concert halls and festivals in Slovenia and internationally.

Fado can’t be defined. Fado is a secret.
The only thing that matters in fado is that you feel it.
You don’t sing fado, fado happens. And if you feel it, you don’t understand it and you don’t explain it.

A full-blooded, direct and concise flow of saudade, caught in the streets of Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Lisbon, amongst brothels and milongas, joy and pain, amongst merchants, sailors and immigrants. Music that plays at night, that comes with the moon and dies with the sun, time and again.

The musicians are linked by the crossroads of history, where every night the ones who are, meet the ones who are no longer visible. In their music, you hear those who have escaped the forces of gravity of the parquet and protected their hearts from the glare of clichés.
