Alma Mater Europaea - Academy of dance in Ljubljana continues withhigh quality work, in the form of an annual production of students of the first and second year of modern dance, summarized with a performance entitled with Pina Bausch's quote: Dance, dance, otherwise we are lost!
The performance combines different techniques and procedures, which students met during the academic year and, together with mentors upgraded them into independent parts, as well as group dance sequences. In an interesting fusion of different genres, the audience can recognize new dance talents and interesting choreographic and methodological approaches, which are offered by the Academy of Dance study program. Through modern exploration of the movement, theoretical and aesthetic elements of artistic creation, the poetics of body of each student is presented, who through her personal, sincere approach and expression contributes to a complete choreographic partitur, and to rethinking about – what is contemporary dance today.
